The product

sMover aimed to let consumers compare, negotiate with, and hire real-estate agents around the world.

I helped the founders turn that ambition into something users and investors could see: a design system, a public landing page, and the first working MVP.

Engineering approach

  • Translated Figma designs into reusable React components documented in Storybook.
  • Built a statically generated Next.js landing page and a GraphQL-connected application.
  • Packaged shared TypeScript code for a private registry.
  • Used Mirage JS to mock the API so frontend development could continue before the backend existed.

What mattered

Working across US and European time zones improved how I document decisions and hand work over asynchronously. The design system also had a practical early job: it kept the landing page, prototype, and application consistent while the product was still changing.
