Case study · DesignStudio
A flexible website for a global design agency.
I built the DesignStudio website used to present work for clients including Airbnb, Logitech, Premier League, and Deliveroo.

The work
Editors needed to publish image- and video-heavy case studies without asking a developer to build every page.
I planned the website architecture, chose the technology and hosting, modeled the content in a headless CMS, and built the React frontend.
DesignStudio joined with Analog and Pixel Artworks to become Further in 2025. This case study covers the website I built while the agency still used the DesignStudio name.

Technical decisions
- Structured content. DatoCMS gave editors control without allowing every page to become a different layout.
- Media pipeline. Mux and Imgix handled video and responsive images for media-heavy work.
- Motion. Framer Motion and Lottie kept transitions in the frontend instead of tying them to individual content entries.
- Static delivery. Gatsby generated a fast site from the content stored in DatoCMS.
